A Message From the Board
We are proud to represent the citizens of West Orange in overseeing the management of the West Orange public school district. In West Orange, we have the pleasure to work with a dedicated administration and staff; a comprehensive and challenging academic program; and students who continually strive to grow intellectually, morally and socially. We thank all members of the school community for the successes being achieved.
The students in the West Orange public schools continue to impress us with their academic achievements, successes in music and related arts, and honors in athletic competition.
This Board of Education is committed to continuing to pursue the best education possible for the diverse group of young people in our district. We know that the public school system is a key cornerstone to a successful community. We pledge to work together, with the West Orange community, to meet the needs of all of our students.
We are working to stay in touch with the entire West Orange community. Look for new information from the West Orange Board of Education on this Web site (www.woboe.org), on public access Channel 36 (Comcast) / Channel 45 (FiOS) at Board of Education meetings (held twice each month), through articles in local newspapers and in a recently produced videotape.
We also encourage you talk to West Orange students, families and faculty! They will share their own stories and experiences that bring to life the enriching educational and social environment offered by the West Orange public schools.
