Annual Black History Scholarship Event Held at West Orange High School

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The annual Black History Scholarship Dinner was held Feb. 15 in the Tarnoff Cafe at West Orange High School, raising funds to provide scholarships to graduating seniors and highlight student talent and black culture. The event was organized by the Student Council and advisor Catherine Connors with support from the community.

Performances by the West Orange Boys and Girls Step Teams, Ab-Salute and Optimal Precision, the Jubilee Choir and dance team, the Dance Honors Society, recited original and famous poetry, and vocal performances highlighted the evening.
