WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange Class of 2020 alum Elijah Millington will complete flight training with the United States Navy, graduating in May 2024 to become a Naval Aviator.

Millington graduated from West Orange High School in 2020 and attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.  

Millington, currently a midshipman, will graduate as an officer - an Ensign, and will be stationed at Pensacola Naval Air Station following graduation. He will fly P-8A  Poseidon, "the U.S. Navy’s multi-mission maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft conducting long-range anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). P-8A Poseidon is the replacement aircraft for the P-3C Orion."
