West Orange High School Senior Achieves Eagle Scout Rank

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Boy Scout Troop 6 in West Orange has another Eagle Scout to add to its growing ranks of future leaders. West Orange High School senior Daniel Levin was feted on May 21 during his Court of Honor, where Board of Education President Brian Rock also presented Levin with an Outstanding Achievement recognition from the school district.

For Levin's Eagle Scout project, he renovated and restored the Conforti courtyard used by the Early Childhood program. He printed primary colors on a concrete wall, added a new flowerbed with lavender, cleaned the blacktop, repainted the hopscotch course, and weeded the existing flowerbed.

When he's not involved in Community Service, Levin is part of the Drama Club, Thespian Society, and the 3-D Printing Club.

He will be attending Albright College in the fall and majoring in Theatre, with a minor in Holocaust Studies.
