School District and Township Host Successful Realtor Open House

WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange Township and the West Orange School District collaborated to host a Realtor Open House, held March 21 at Liberty Middle School.

Realtors were ushered directly into the auditorium by school security and the area was closed to students, in keeping with security protocols set up by the district. Approximately 100 realtors attended the event, which featured a soon-to-be-released town video and school principals from Washington, Kelly, Gregory, St. Cloud, Edison, Liberty, Roosevelt and West Orange High School, who were introduced by Assistant Superintendent Hayden Moore and provided details about the district's curriculum and programs. Board of Education President Brian Rock, Supervisor of Fine Arts Lou Quagliato, and Acting Director of Sports Steve Zichella provided additional information regarding opportunities at the high school.

Mayor Susan McCartney, councilperson Michelle Casalino, Administrative Assistant Shari Quirk, Downtown West Orange Director Megan Brill, and members of the Public Relations Commission organized the event, which served to provide information to realtors selling in the West Orange area. A question and answer period followed the presentation, and feedback from the realtor community was unanimously animated and positive.
