WEST ORANGE, NJ - Urban Artist and WOHS grad Eli Mint partnered with WOHS art students on March 8 to paint a mural at Guerriero Gelato, formerly Mark and Julie's Ice Cream on Pleasant Valley Way. 

Elijah Minton is known as "The Art Alchemist," and has gained notoriety in the urban art world. The popular artist was commissioned to paint the mural and recruited WOHS Art teacher Nikole Krulik's Urban Art class to assist him in the project. The students worked with Mint last April on two projects, one at the  high school  and the other on a street project near Hazel Elementary School.

Guerriero's Gelato will hold its Grand Opening on March 12 beginning at 3:00 and will feature a 100-cup giveaway of their St. Patrick's Day themed ice creams, Bailey's Chip and Jameson Chocolate Whiskey.
