Family, Community and Career Leaders of America Club Members Take Top Honors at Leadership Conference

WEST ORANGE,NJ - Students in the West Orange High School Family, Community, and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA) Club attended the annual Fall State Leadership Conference, held virtually Nov. 16-19, 2020 and took top honors in several categories.

 

The theme for the conference was "Mission: A Brighter Tomorrow." Students competed against other schools in several areas of Family and Consumer Science.

Rojas and Agahoma were named top prize winners at the competition and both earned virtual Summer Scholarships at Berklely College. Rojas also received a “Perfect Score.”

 

FCCLA Club Advisors Jill Thompson and Monica Merino, the FCCLA club advisors, will be working with the club members in preparation for the spring conference during which students may qualify to compete in the National competition this summer.
