My name is Maria David and I have had the pleasure of teaching middle school for the past 19 years. I have an undergraduate degree from St. Peter’s University in Education and a master’s degree from Walden University in Technology Education.

I believe every day is a new adventure, especially in the science classroom. A science classroom should be full of energy, curiosity and creativity. I have high expectations for my students and desire to instill a sense of responsibility for one’s own learning. This is why project based learning is an essential part of our science program. “Learning by doing” creates the most meaningful kind of learning as well as frames some of the best science adventures. I am excited to guide these adventures with my students this year.
