The School Health Officer/ School Nurse guides and assists parents, students, school staff and administration in promoting and adhering to our public health’s mission in the prevention, reduction and controlling the incidence of the spread of illness and disease within the school and its community.Our district and the West Orange Board of Education promote health and wellness and support healthy classrooms and a safe school food environment.Cooperation and team work has been attributed to many successes. Our team is our staff and administration and you, the parents and students. Our school needs everyone involved to keep each one of us healthy and safe so that we can help educate our students, our future leaders and educators.As part of our comprehensive health care program, the following health screenings are conducted at Liberty Middle School:*7th grade hearing, 8th grade vision screening
* Heights, weights, blood pressure of students
