I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2009, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics, and received my Master's Degree shortly after from Manhattanville College.  I began my teaching journey in New York at the high school that I graduated from, and from there I spent 10 years teaching in a district in New Jersey and came to Liberty Middle School in 2022.  I currently teach 8th grade at Liberty, and I am so excited to continue my teaching journey in West Orange.  

My goal is to inspire and motivate students to follow their passion, whether it be math or a different interest! I also want to encourage students to appreciate math and discover how it is used in the real world every day.
