Virtual Author Visit with Alan Gratz

On Thursday, December 5th a group of approximately 50 students were treated to a virtual author visit with Alan Gratz.  Mr. Gratz discussed his book Refugee. It is the story of 3 children separated by continents and decades, and their harrowing journeys in search of refuge. The students discovered connections that tie the stories together.

• Welcome Back Roosevelt Roughriders!

  I'm Mrs. Touzeau your Library Media Specialist.  Things are a little different this year. I will be here for lessons and all things library only on A (odd) days.  The Computer App teacher Mrs. McSherry will be teaching in the library on B (even) days.  If you need to come to the library for books or to do work please do so only on A days. 

  As a reminder, please make sure when you take out books you return them on time.  If your book is lost, you will be responsible to pay for the cost of that book to replace it.

  I can't wait to meet all the new 7th graders and 8th graders.
