I am Mrs. Santimauro!  This year marks my eighth year teaching 7th grade at Roosevelt!  Math has always been a passion of mine and I hope that after this year, I can convince you that math really isn't that bad!!  Many moons ago, I received my Bachelor's Degree from Manhattan College in Mathematics and Secondary Education.  When I was there, I minored in Computer Science and Spanish, managed the radio station, sang in the choir, and participated in many volunteer activities.  More recently, I completed my Master's Degree in Mathematics at Montclair State.  A little over a year ago, my husband and I got the puppy of our dreams...a Newfoundland puppy, who we named Shelby!  We started training her from day one and it is our hope that soon, she will be a therapy dog so we can bring her to hospitals, schools, and nursing homes to brighten people's day!  Besides playing with and training Shelby, I like going hiking, cycling, playing the guitar, singing, and gardening!  I am very much looking forward to this school year and cannot wait to get to know you better!
