Welcome to my teacher profile page and more importantly, welcome to new school year at Thomas A. Edison Central Sixth Middle School.  Since this is a page about the teacher, I'll share a little bit about myself and my experiences.  I have been educating students in ELA (English Language Arts) at the middle school level for the past 24 years. This is my 14th year at Edison and the changes from 14 years ago until now have been numerous.  I was an ELA teacher on the Blue Team for 7 years, 2 years on the Orange Team, and 1 year on the Purple Team. This is my fourth year on the Green Team and as the team leader.  I look forward to working with new/different staff here at Edison.  I am excited about meeting my new students and the changes and challenges we will face together.
