Hello and Welcome!

My name is Wioletta Baluta, and I am very excited and proud to be your Math teacher this year! This is my fourth year at Edison and 18th year as an educator. Previously, I taught 3rd, 5th, and 7th graders as well as adults. 

In my spare time I love to travel, play tennis, ski, run, garden but, most importantly, spend time with my son.

So what's ahead of you? In Grade 6, you will not only increase your math knowledge, but also independently demonstrate your skills, explain the strategies used, support your ideas and work with one another. And I am committed to doing everything within my power to make this year successful for all of us.
