Cadet Millington got an early Christmas present this year by earning an appointment to the prestigious US Naval Academy. Cadet Millington attended the US Naval Academy summer program in 2019 and serves as the Academic Officer for Mountaineer Squadron. He will be second AFJROTC cadet from West Orange to attend the US Naval Academy; Ensign Dylan Pennell graduated last year and is currently serving at Pearl Harbor Hawaii.

Third year Cadet Antoine Chapman graduates from the 2019 AFJROTC Flight Academy

Recently the Air Force selected 150 cadets out of over 1600 applicants worldwide for scholarships to attend private pilot training at public/private universities. Cadet Chapman was selected and earned his pilot's license at Delaware State University. The scholarship paid for transportation, room and board, academics, and flight hours for 8 weeks and was valued at $20,000.
