Welcome to Mrs. Campanaro's Social Studies Page!

I am currently starting my 14th year of teaching this school year, and I am so excited to be in my fifth year here at Liberty Middle School. Previously, I taught 7th and 8th grade social studies in Paterson, NJ. I have taught middle school for my entire career and love teaching the age group. I am a Kean University graduate with three teaching certifications (Teacher of Social Studies, Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary Education K-6). I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and I also hold a post-baccalaurate certification in Holocaust Education and Prejudice Reduction at Kean University. 

I teach 8th grade special education Social Studies, and co-teach one section of ELA with Mr. McManus. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching football (GO GIANTS), doing outdoor activities and reading.
