West Orange High Named NGPF Gold Standard School
WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange High School Business Department has been named a Gold Standard School by Next Gen Personal Finance, a non-profit advocacy organization that provides support to financial educators.
"We discovered that your school is one of the few delivering the 'gold standard:' a required, semester-long personal finance course," stated Tim Ranzetta of NGPF in a letter to the high school.
The high school has been providing the course for several years and it is mandatory for graduation.
Principal Hayden Moore posed with business teachers and the school's newest banner recognizing their achievement.
"We have the most dedicated staff here at West Orange High School," said Moore, "and we are proud to receive recognition as a Gold Standard School by NGPF."
