WEST ORANGE, NJ - Students in Nicole Krulik's Urban Art and Communication class at West Orange High School had the unique opportunity to visit Deitch Gallery in New York City on Jan. 12 to view the 50th Anniversary Style Wars Show. In addition to their visit to Deitch, Krulik and her students explored Soho through a street gallery walk.

"The trip left my students in awe, reinforcing the notion that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom," noted Krulik.

"Trips like this are so impactful for students who may not have the opportunity to venture beyond their local surroundings," she added.
