Construction Continues on West Orange High School Bubble

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Construction continues on the new "Bubble" at West Orange High School, the athletic center housing gym equipment, coaches' offices, shower, and athlete locker rooms.

The original Bubble collapsed during the winter of 2018 following a snowstorm and it became necessary to consider razing the old structure and building a new one.

The Bubble structure is completed, though the HVAC unit must still be installed. The weight room is usable, and the football team is weight training on premises. The portion of the Bubble containing the locker rooms, coaches' offices, and shower is still under construction, with an estimated completion by the start of the new school year on Sept. 4.
