Science National Honor Society Continues Landscaping Efforts at West Orange High School
WEST ORANGE, NJ - Students in the Science National Honor Society continued their landscaping efforts by providing bushes along the Pleasant Valley Way side of West Orange High School in a ceremony Dec. 20.
Michael Giovine of Giovine Landscaping planted the bushes. Giovine's son, Michael Jr., graduated in 2018.
"This is our second project together," noted SNHS advisor Dr. Ronald Brandt.
"The students donate the plantings and Giovine Landscaping donates the labor to professionally undertake the planting," he continued.
"The SNHS has donated $2,000 over the past two years to help beautify the PVW entrance area. Last year we planted trees and this year we sponsored bushes," Brandt concluded.
