Mt. Pleasant Elementary Holds Black History Laser Show for Students
WEST ORANGE, NJ - Students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School were over the moon during Prismatic Magic's Black History Laser Show, held Feb. 5.
The 40-minute program, set up and hosted by Prismatic's Jevon Blackwell, took students on a journey through time with the use of laser impressions, music, and voice clips. The students were enamored of the program from the beginning, singing along to the music, jumping up, dancing, and even cheering as the words of Dr. Martin Luther King: "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character" rang through the gym.
