ABOUT ME:

Since 2000, I have had the pleasure of teaching in the West Orange community.  I am honored to be a part of this great Mt. Pleasant School staff.  I taught first grade for twenty-one years, and I now have the pleasure of teaching second grade.  Teaching in the primary grades is a rewarding experience as these years are so important in a child's education.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Montclair State University.  I also earned my Master's Degree in Reading K-12, and I hold my Reading Specialist certification.  I am a clinical faculty member at Montclair State University.  I believe education is a lifelong process.

As a proud mom of three kids, I know the importance of home and school working together.  When we work together, our children flourish.  I look forward to working with you and helping your child succeed!
