Welcome to Mrs. Catalano's Class!

I have been a teacher in West Orange for eighteen years, all at Washington School.  Prior to that, I taught third grade at a small private school and pre-k at Kindercare Learning Center.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  

Teaching and education are an important part of my life.  I believe that the early years of a child’s education set a learning foundation for years to come.  Everything that I do as a teacher is to help my students not only in Kindergarten but the future as well.  It is my goal to build this foundation so that the children acquire a lifelong love of learning.

I cannot do this alone.  YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON AND TEACHER IN YOUR CHILD’S LIFE!!  Your support can and will make the difference.
