ABOUT ME:

This is my 17th year at Mt. Pleasant! I have always enjoyed working with children; therefore, I always knew that teaching was the career for me.  I have taught kindergarten and first grade.  Working with first graders has been a very rewarding experience.  I love watching my students change and grow.  The transformation between September to June is remarkable.  My first graders become independent readers and writers!  It is so exciting to watch them blossom!

I am also the proud mom of three children; therefore, working with parents is very important to me.  I am looking forward to working with you this year.  During my down time, I enjoy reading, working out, taking pictures, cooking and spending time with my family.  I enjoy working together with my students, their families and my colleagues. Parents and teachers make an excellent team!
