WEST ORANGE, NJ – Students at Gregory Elementary School were inspired, informed, and delighted during Career Day, held on May 31.
Parents and community members from a wide array of career backgrounds were on hand to meet with students, present an overview of what they did, and answer questions. Career Day provides a way for parents to connect to their child's school, as well as offer young children an introduction to some of the many diverse and exciting career opportunities that can be available to them.
Students were enthralled by the visits on career day, and a few even got a surprise visit from their mom or dad. They eagerly listened to parents describing their work and asked follow-up questions.
