Gregory Elementary School Receives $2,000 Check from Nikhil Badlani Foundation
WEST ORANGE, NJ - For the second year in a row, Gregory Elementary School was the recipient of a $2,000 check from the Nikhil Badlani Foundation for raising the highest amount of pledges for the Ninth Annual Run/Walk for Nikhil.
Sangeeta and Sunil Badlani stopped by Gregory Elementary School on Nov. 13 to present the check to Principal Makeida Estupiñan and the PTA Board. The school raised $3,680 in pledges. West Orange High School was second with $4,576 but needed to raise three times more due to the high school population. Roosevelt Middle School was third with $1,170.
Principal Estupiñan said that the award would be used to pay for an assembly that the entire school could enjoy.
