Second Grade Students Present "American Heroes Wax Museum" at Redwood Elementary School

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Madame Tussaud had nothing on second-grade students in Christine Landau's class on Feb. 28 as they proudly presented their annual "American Wax Museum" featuring prominent Americans from all walks of life.

With little "press" buttons on their desks, students dressed as their American hero and presented facts about their lives while fielding questions from visiting students, parents, and teachers.

Students enthusiastically presented their reports on notables like Neil Armstrong, Michael Jordan, Michelle and Barack Obama, Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King, Walt Disney, Jimi Hendrix, Amelia Earhart, George Washington, Ruby Bridges, Michael Jackson, Jim Henson, Wilma Rudolph, Babe Ruth and Muhammed Ali.
