KINDERGARTEN CLASS!!!

Welcome to our class page! What an excitng time for your family! Kindergarten is a wonderful year, full of learning and exploring. I am Danielle Fritts and I am your child's kindergarten teacher. This year is my 12th year teaching at Redwood and my 8th year teaching kindergarten.

I am a proud mom of 2 beautiful boys, Dominic (5 y/o) and Lorenzo (2 y/o). Just like many of you I am experiencing kindergarten for the first time as a parent. It's exciting to be in this position as this is all new to me too. Currently, I live in Morris County with the boys, our german shepard Rocky, and my husband. With 2 very active boys our weekends are jammed packed with adventures. On any given Friday night in the fall you can find me at the Dover High School football games coaching the cheer team. Go TEAM!

I graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and in 2008 I received my Masters Degree in Education from Marygrove College. Prior to teaching kindergarten I taught 2nd grade for 4 years and I honestly thought I had found my home but in 2008 I was asked to teach kindergarten and I instantly loved it. As a little girl I remember playing school with my friends and trying to teach my younger brother to read and always wanting to teach. I can honestly say that I am living my dream. Teaching isn't a job or work its my passion and I am grateful that I get to spend my day with your children. I look forward to working together to ensure a successful year for you child.
