Major League Soccer Star Brendan McSorley Visits Hazel Elementary School

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Major League Soccer star Brendan McSorley visited Hazel Elementary School on Jan. 6 to discuss his life and career.

McSorley, who grew up in Randolph, played for Delbarton during high school and attended Providence College on a full scholarship. While in college, he also played with the New York Red Bulls, FC Motown, and St. Louis City. He currently plays with St. Louis City 2 franchise, a team affiliated with the MLS Next Pro Club.

While at Hazel. McSorley talked about his soccer career, discussing the training, commitment, and recruiting process. He talked about a healthy diet and lifestyle and emphasized the importance of education. He encouraged students to follow and pursue their dreams.
