Reading is an essential skill to fulfill all of life's desires, dreams wishes and goals. To that end I have spent over three decades dedicating my life's work to the advancement of student learning and achievement.   My career began early at Drew University and has journeyed through additional corporate, collegiate and experiences throughout New Jersey and New York.  I have served more than ten years as a K-12 English Language Teacher.  At Rooseevelt Middle School, I have served as both a core subject English and Reading instructor.  Currently, I am teaching as a related arts teacher who is facilitating a related arts class to the majority of seventh grade students.  The class is taught on an alternate meeting day schedule.  The focus and emphasis of the course is to encourage the love of reading!  Students are requested to always have a book in hand.
