Welcome to Mr. Carsillo's Teacher Page!

     Can you believe another school year is here already? This is going to be an exciting and fun filled year for all of our students at Kelly. My name is Anthony Carsillo and I am your child’s fifth grade teacher. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself. I strongly believe it is essential for parents to know their child’s teacher as an individual!

     I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Madison/Florham Park Campus) with my bachelors degree (2004) and masters degree in education (2005).  Immediately following my departure from college I was fortunate enough to start working at Kelly and have been here ever since. I have taught all grade levels with the exception of kindergarten and first grade. This is my third year in fifth grade and I’m looking forward to working with my good friends Mrs. Clancy, Mrs. Pacifico, Mrs. Fink and Ms. Mini. I am a huge sports fan (especially Vikings football and golf), a lover of art (everything from Bernini sculptures to Banksy street art), and I truly enjoy the process of making something with my bare hands (acrylic paintings, custom home entertainment systems, and many DIY projects). I am a kid at heart and enjoy time hiking through the woods with my wife and son, relaxing with a good book, and playing a strategy based game when I find the time. Most of all, I love teaching.
