"Mean Girls Jr." Launches at Liberty Middle School April 25-27

WEST ORANGE, NJ -  "Mean Girls Jr.," adapted from the wildly popular movie and Broadway show for younger audiences, is launching at Liberty Middle School, One Kelly Drive, from April 25-27. The April 25 and 26 performances will begin at 7:00 pm and the April 27 performance will begin at 1:00 pm.

The story remains the same: Cady Heron, new to North Shore High School in Chicago, befriends Janis and Damian, two quirky (but hilarious) peers. Janis and Damien want Cady to infiltrate "The Plastics," the popular girls' group at school headed by Regina George. The plan backfires when Cady gets caught up in being popular, maybe more popular than Regina. Regina releases the "Burn Book" to knock Cady off her pedestal, and she loses everything. How will she mend her broken friendships and become her true self once more? The musical is suitable for all ages.
