WOSEPAC Inclusive Dance Held at West Orange High School

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange Special Education Parent Advisory Council (WOSEPAC) provided a family-friendly inclusive dance for children in grades K-2 on Feb. 17 at West Orange High School, offering a respite from the dreary weather with dancing, crafts, face-painting, and more.

Activities also included a free book giveaway, West Orange police officer Justin Davis serving as DJ Mack, a special Valentine's themed mural designed by students from the Jewish Community Center that provided a photo backdrop, Maschio's complimentary coffee and tea, and snacks for sale as families danced the night away.

Thank you to all who came out last night to WOSEPAC’s Valentine’s Dance," said WOSEPAC chair Gina Rivas-Velazquez.

"We appreciated help from the West Orange Warriors, Mountaineers, ROTC, the complimentary coffee and tea station from Maschio’s Food Service, DJ Mack, Justin Davis, WOPD for your comforting presence out front, WOHS principal Guerrero and his gorgeous kids for always supporting, face painters, Jese, Deeworks for the red carpets and backdrop stand, JCC Kids Club for helping me paint the beautiful backdrop, Jayla for the paparazzi photography and of course the WOSEPAC team!" she gushed.
