Wrestler Victor Lopez Ends Career With Record-Breaking 136 Match Wins

WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange High School wrestler Victor Lopez ended his wrestling career with 136 wins and in the top 16 in the state of New Jersey.
Lopez made it to the second round of wrestle backs and did not medal in Atlantic City, but it will be a long time before another West Orange wrestler breaks his incredible record and impressive stats of 136 career wins and 30 wins in each of his four years. Lopez ended the 2017 season 32-1.
"Vic wrestled so tough, it could have gone either way," said Head Coach Steve Zichella, "and I'm proud to be a Mountaineer alongside Vic and all our wrestling coaches."
