WEST ORANGE, NJ -  Anyone who remembers 2006 remembers High School Musical, the uber-popular megahit of a movie that spawned the careers of Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale along with three films, a series, and several spin-offs. But not to fear. Edison Middle School has brought back all the feels with High School Musical Jr., running May 2 at 7:00 pm and May 3 at 2:00 pm. 

Troy is the star basketball player at a small-town high school. He meets super-smart Gabriella and, while sparks may fly slowly, they both discover they have a secret, yet shared love of singing. They decide to try out for the school musical, much to the dismay of Sharpay, who attempts to derail them. Adding to the comic drama is a basketball championship and a science decathlon.

Outstanding lighting, sound, and sets complement the actors' comedic timing. There are plenty of chuckles along the way as thirty-somethings enjoy a walk down memory lane with the crew from High School Musical Jr. It might just be a show the parents enjoy as much as their kids.
