WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange African Heritage Organization is in need of tutors for their tutoring program at Redwood and Kelly Elementary Schools.

The long-time program has been a success in West Orange elementary schools, assisting students with homework and/or practice materials assigned by their teachers. The program runs every Wednesday from 3:20 - 4:20 pm through May 2024, barring holidays or school closures. The ratio of tutor to student is 1:1. If a tutor is absent, we ask that a tutor assist two students for the day. First, second, and third grade students are part of the program. 

Adults and West Orange High School students can tutor.
