ABOUT ME:

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your child to kindergarten!  My name is Karen Haleblian, and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher!  I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School community and your child’s kindergarten experience. This is my fourteenth year as a kindergarten teacher at Mt. Pleasant.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree from East Stroudsburg University, and a Master’s Degree in Education from the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Kindergarten is the start of an amazing learning journey. Our classroom will be a caring community of learners, where all children feel valued and can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. My goal is that your child feels confident, safe, and LOVES LEARNING!
