I am excited to be teaching Computer Applications and Coding at Liberty Middle School. Students will use various applications in Google Suites and Microsoft Office to explore and develop entrepreneurial skills and concepts. Entrepreneurship education equips students to seek out problem-solving opportunities and think outside the box. Coding gives students the ability to create technologies that could change the world. In addition to students learning a skill set that can be used in a future career, coding also helps develop skills for problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
I'm the advisor for the Totally Tech Club. We run the ink cartridge recycling program and collect Box Tops for Education. Send in your ink cartridges for recycling and Box Tops for Education to earn Pride Points for your advisory.
This is my sixth year teaching and my third year in the West Orange School District teaching Computer Applications and Coding.
