Welcome to Mrs. Talman's 1st grade class.  

First grade is such an important year.  You will be amazed how much your student will academically grow this year.  The classroom envronment is one that is nurturing and safe for learning and taking academic risks.  I have been working in West Orange for 21 years.  I have taught Basic Skills instruction, second grade and now I am teaching first grade.  I graduated from Rider University, and currently hold an master degree.
