FAQ's

Q.  Where can I find information on school closings or delayed openings?

A.  Information on school delayed openings or closings will appear on Channel 36; be announced on WOR radio 710 am dial; be announced by 1010 WINS am radio; be recorded on the
West Orange Administration's main telephone line (973) 669-5400; and/or emailed to you by your child's school and be posted on this Web site.

Q.  Where can obtain a copy of my official transcripts?

A.  To obtain an official copy your high school transcripts you must send a letter to the West Orange High School Guidance Department with pertinent information such as your name, date
of birth, year of graduation and which high school you attended;  Mountain High School or West Orange High School.  You must also provide us with the name that you have used
while they were a student here.  There is also a $2.00 fee for this service.  We prefer not to fax information; most places require an official copy of transcripts and faxing does not
show the official West Orange High School seal.

Q.  How do I save my Favorites (Bookmarks) in Internet Explorer?

A.  On the browser menu, click on File, Import and Export an a Import/Export wizard will appear then click Next to continue.
Select 'Export Favorites'  then click Next.
Select 'Favorites' (which should already be highlighted) then click Next
Review the default location (your network folder) and filename (bookmark.htm).  The links are saved in a file called bookmark.htm. You can accept the default or change it.
It is recommended that you change the 'bookmark.htm' to another name using the .htm extension if you plan on doing this from more than one computer so that you do not
overwrite the file.  To restore your Favorites run the wizard as explained above and choose 'Import Favorites' and select the file that contains the saved favorites.
